4. Fold in the prunes and walnuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Prune Glaze

  • 1/3 cup prune juice
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

1. In a small saucepan, combine the prune juice, orange juice, butter, honey, cinnamon, and orange zest. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

2. Remove from heat and let cool for 10 minutes. Pour over the cooled cake and spread evenly.
